NEW DELHI: A slightly nervous and anxious Gul Panag was seen walking down the ramp at Day 2 of the Wills India Fashion Week (WIFW) for designer Urvashi Kaur.
Gul was visibly nervous about her strut down the runway, but managed to pull off an incredible walk, dressed in a burgundy gown and coral blue accessories.
Saying that walking the ramp was something she was never good at, Gul revealed: “It was bit of unnerving to walk with big supermodels but thanks to music that helped me in soothing my nerves. I feel, modelling requires lot of things and for me, it was little difficult as I never walked the ramp during my Miss India days.”
However, her good friend Urvashi Kaur made sure she was pampered and comfortable enough to walk down the runway at the WIFW.
Said Kaur, about Gul and her professional ways, “”She (Gul) epitomizes the women of today. She is very intelligent, adventurous, globe trotter and moreover she is beautiful inside out.”
Speaking about the collection called ‘Fez’, which comprised tunics with asymmetrical folds and hemlines, peplum vests and wrap jackets; “It is an extension of my summer line. It`s called Fez. It is one of the most beautiful cities and it is one of the oldest cities of the world.”
And Gul Panag too couldn’t resist praising her friend’s latest collection at the fashion soiree.
