LOS ANGELES: It’s always a pleasant surprise to see America’s First Lady, President Barack Obama’s gorgeous wife Michelle Obama try out something different. And Michelle has done just that, by gracing the cover of American fashion magazine, Vogue!

Vogue magazine is known as the pinnacle of fashion and style, and it is no surprise that they decided to feature Michelle Obama on the cover.

Michelle is always regarded for her impeccable sartorial choices, from her flowing red gown at the Inauguration Ball, to the stylish and chic silver number at this year’s Oscars, Michelle has time and again proved that she has what it takes to be not only the First Lady in Politics, but also in Fashion!

On the April issue of Vogue magazine, Michelle will be seen in a sleeveless teal blue Reed Krakoff dress, with purple peeking out, showing off her enviable arms and shoulders. Photographed by legendary Hollywood photographer Annie Leibovitz, Mrs. Obama will be seen in front of a soothing green background. Michelle’s hair is cropped short, with her now-famous fringe intact. A diamond wedding band on her left hand completes the pretty picture.

Mrs Obama’s style has always been in the news; for the lady really does know the alchemy of fashion. Says Michelle, about her own style statement: “If you’re comfortable in your clothes it’s easy to connect with people and make them feel comfortable as well.”

The April issue of Vogue hits stands soon, and fans can purchase the copy to catch a sneak peek of the President himself, who is reportedly featured in the magazine, alongside his stunning wife.
