Apparently Ranbir Kapoor’s parents gave Katrina an icy ignore and looked right through her.
A source said, “Rishi & Neetu came close to Katrina, but both parties looked through each other. It was a very awkward moment”.
It is very known fact that Rishi and Neetu have never liked Katrina, not even while she was dating their son, Ranbir. Ranbir had even moved out of his parents’ house (Krishna Raj in Pali Hill) and started living-in with Katrina at Carter Road for nearly a year, until they parted ways earlier this year. Both Rishi and Neetu were not very pleased with their son’s idea to move out of their house, but they eventually gave in.
That wasn’t the only set of Kapoors that didn’t acknowledge Katrina well joining in were Ranbir‘s cousins, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Karisma Kapoor. Karan Johar took Katrina to exchange pleasantries with Kareena & her gang of girls (Karisma, Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora). Katrina quickly congratulated Bebo on her pregnancy with a hug but that was it. Soon Katrina was left alone in the group.
Ranbir was one of the missing B-Towner in this filmi bash. And it seems like Katrina was the reason he decided to give it a miss.
We wonder how Katrina would have felt. Alas, Bollywood and the industry equation, unpredictable!
