Deepika Padukone has found a home for herself in Shah Rukh Khan’s camp. She knows whatever happens this is one door which will always be open unless she crosses the two custodians at the door, Shah Rukh and Farah Khan.
So much is her closeness to these too that she doesn’t mind rubbing Salman Khan the wrong way. But we wonder if this is the right move to make, in terms of her career.
Eversince Deepika Padukone debuted with Om Shanti Om she has been Shah Rukh’s favourite. For Chennai Express too, he didn’t have to look beyond Deepika for the role of a South Indian.

To be fair with her, she is a credible actress who has grown in leaps and bounds in every movie as an actress. But banking completely on Shah Rukh Khan might affect her run. At times, inclination towards just one camp can be an unsuitable career move.
Although Padukone cleared that the dates are the major issues behind her rejecting a Salman Khan film, the possibility of her declining the role for SRK cannot be ruled out completely.
Everyone today wants to do a Salman Khan film and it is only wise to do so as it means, massive fanfare. Also, you also stand a chance to win a few Salman Khan fans as well.
