Anurag Basu recently announced that he is coming up with a sequel of his film Life In A… Metro. Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor will also be a part of it. Before your guesses, we tell you that Ranbir Kapoor will don the producer’s hat for the sequel. It is not known to many, but this would be the second time the actor will be seen in the shoes of a producer as he already turned producer for Jagga Jasoos. Anurag Basu confirmed the news and said, “Ranbir is teaming up with me as a producer. Though I may want him to play a pivotal role in the film, I don’t know whether he would be interested. He will always have the first right of refusal.”
As far as the cast of the film is concerned, Kangana Ranaut’s appearance in the film looks dicey but Irrfan Khan will surely be seen in the much talked sequel. Speaking about Irrfan’s role, Basu said, “Irrfan is committed to the sequel. We haven’t worked together in years. In the last four-five years, we almost teamed up on two films, but they didn’t work out. So this time, we’re on.”
Well, this is interesting news. But before the sequel Anurag Basu’s much awaited film Jagga Jasoos will hit the screens on April 7, 2017.
