Ranveer Singh who brought back the trend of a manly mustache and beard, shaved it all off and returned to his clean-cut look. And the honor was done by his best bud Arjun Kapoor while shooting for Gunday.
Ranveer grew a beard and moustache for his look in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela and the young star fell in love with his look, for months he has been flaunting his Movember (no shave November) look at interviews, events, launches, parties!
At a Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram Leela event the star said, “It took me lot of efforts to grow my mustache and beard. Par aaj main yeh elan kar raha hun ki Deepika ji apne pawan haatho se yeh mooche cut karengi.“ (But today I am announcing that Deepika with her blessed hands would shave off my mustache)
However, Deepika Padukone didn’t do the honors but Ranveer Singh’s best bud Arjun Kapoor and his co-star in Gunday picked up the razor and shaved-off that dead old style. The actors were dressed as their characters, for their film, with matching heart shaped print on their shirts the boys posed for some naughty pics.
Gunday starring Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Kapoor in lead roles is set in the 1970’s where small time thieves get involved into coal smuggling and then enter the mafia. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Aditya Chopra the film will hit the screens on February 14, 2014.
