SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali had created a storm at the box office around the globe. The film did not simply become India’s biggest blockbuster in 2015 but turned out to be one of the grandest films in India. But did anyone know that Bollywood’s fashionista Sonam Kapoor was offered a role in the film? Believe it or not, Sonam Kapoor was offered ‘Baahubali. On Neha Dhupia talk show “No Filter Neha”, Sonam Kapoor admitted that she was offered Baahubali and had also read the script.
“I haven’t seen it. Honestly, I have not seen the movie. I have heard the script though. I was offered it (a role in the script). I heard the script and it was incredible,” Sonam revealed on Neha Dhupia’s chat show.
However, Sonam Kapoor did not make it clear why she did not pick the role and what role she was offered in the film. That’s something only she can tell.
In a candid chat, Sonam Kapoor also revealed that she never dated her co-stars in the film. “I can never date my co-stars. I guess that’s the reason why my chemistry always works in the movies,” she said chuckling.
