Entertainment First Day Collections stood in the range of Rs 100 million ( Rs 10 crores) net as per early estimates on its first day at the indian box office. Entertainment has not managed to show strength at the indian box office on saturday and the collections grew marginally .
The film has now managed collect Rs 210 million ( Rs 21 crores) net in the two days of its release. The numbers are average but as per early estimates of Sundays collections the film should manage to cross the Rs 300 million ( Rs 30 crores) net mark in three days.
While collections in multiplex was low the single screens managed to pull through for the Akshay Kumar starer, the film only has one week to do its business as the makers of Singham Returns have booked all the major single screens across the country. Entertainment has had weak openings with multiplex screens so the business if likely to get affected badly due to the later s release.
Due to the limited marketing and pre release hype of the movie the film has not managed as good as expected collection although its opened decently with an average of fifty percent occupancy.
The film managed to make a dent to the superb run of Salman Khan‘s Kick by taking away a lot of multiplex and single screens. Salman Khan’s Kick managed to collect only Rs 15 million (1.5 crores) net on Friday.
With Kick still doing well and Singham Returns starring Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor not to mention a successful franchises entry at the box office next week will affect Akshay Kumar’s Its Entertainment collections for sure. Stay tuned for more
