MUMBAI: Indra Kumar’s sequel to the 2004 super hit adult comedy ‘Masti’, i.e. ‘Grand Masti’ produced by Ashok Thakeria and Indra Kumar himself, has recreated the success of the previous part.
Moreover, the opening figures are so incredible, that it puts ‘Grand Masti’ in league with among the top performers of this year’s releases.
Starring Aftab Shivdasani, Vivek Oberoi and Ritesh Deshmukh, the comic caper managed to rake in approximately Rs 124.7 million (Rs 12.47 crore) net on opening day!
The opening day’s figures are among the highest of the films that have released in 2013. The weekend looks promising too, with current trending and buzz being mostly positive for the film.
