Box Office: India Beats Pakistan Yet Again!

Salman Khan starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan is not only superbly leading in India but also in Pakistan. Director Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is doing tremendously well at Pakistani theatres. Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan has been well received in Pakistan. Bajrangi Bhaijaan succeeded at the Pakistani theatres by defeating its two competitions, Bin Roye and Wrong Number at the Box Office.

The film’s been running to packed houses in Pakistan. The two Pakistani films Bin Roye and Wrong Number released over the EID weekend but Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is the film that took the Pakistani Box Office by storm. In its first week itself, Bajrangi Bhaijaan collected Rs. 37 crore (370 million) approximately in Karachi and Islamabad. Salman Khan’s action drama film has earned Rs. 194 crore net (1940 million) approx. in just 8 days in Indian Box Office.

Despite losing on money to the Indian film, Pakistani actors rather feel happy that their films had the honour to release alongside Salman Khan’s film. Salman Khan is very popular and loved across the border. Salman’s film Bajrangi Bhaijaan has been tagged as a “family film” and is running very smoothly. Special arrangements have been made in the theatres across the border to fulfill the demands of the audiences.

Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is inching closer to 200 crore mark in India with each passing day. Directed by Kabir Khan, the action drama film will most likely join the 200 crore club by the end of Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s second weekend run at the Box Office. Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan will be the biggest grosser by the star. After Kick, Salman’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan will be his second film to cross 200 crore mark in India! This is a big moment for the star, as only few films have made it beyond 200 crore mark in India.
