Actor To Play Robin In Batman Vs Superman: Dawn Of Justice Revealed?

The trailer of Hollywood director Zack Snyder’s Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice revealed a lot of things. Apart from revealing Batman’s rage against Superman, the film’s trailer pointed out a lot of important minor details that just add up to film’s background story. Now if rumours are anywhere to be true, we’ll also get to see Batman’s trusted sidekick the Boy Wonder aka Robin in the film!

Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’s trailer had a surprising revelation related to Batman’s sidekick Robin, who appears to be dead. In a particular scene in the film’s trailer, Bruce Wayne, played by Ben Affleck is seen starring at an old rusted suit, kept neatly in a display case as a memorial. The suit once belonged to his sidekick Robin but it’s the words that caught our major attention. We clearly saw the impact the words written on Robin’s suit had on Bruce as his gaze deepens. Joker’s mocking face lingered in our minds as we read “Haha jokes on you Batman.” Now this clears the picture as to why Batman retired in the first place. Presumably Robin was killed by the Joker.

Soon after watching the film’s trailer, we wondered whether this means Robin’s appearance in the film (of course, in a flash back shot) and if what we hear is correct, we might as well get to see Robin in this epic battle after all! Even though there hasn’t been any official confirmation stating that The Joker will make his appearance in the film, we anyway felt his presence throughout the film’s latest trailer and now recent reports suggest that not only will Joker make his appearance in the film but also Batman’s loyal sidekick Robin! Rumouredly, director Zack will take us down our memory lane with a special flash back, where we’ll see a very young star in Robin’s suit. The scene will depict Robin dying by the hands of Joker (played by Jared Leto)! And here’s the name of the actor who is reported to play Robin’s part in the film and it’s none other than Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’s director Zack Snyder’s handsome son Eli Synder! This doesn’t come as a surprise. After all, Eli Synder has often starred in his father’s films, take 300 and Watchmen for example.

There hasn’t been any official confirmation yet. However, chances are pretty strong that we’ll get to see Eli Synder as Robin in this action drama superhero flick! Directed by Zack Snyder, the film features other DC Comics characters like Wonder Woman and Aquaman. Actor Ben Affleck stars as Batman, while Henry Cavill reprises his role as Superman. The Fast and Furious fame, Gal Gadot will be seen acing the role of Wonder Women and Amy Adams as Lois Lane, whereas Game Of Thrones star Jason Momoa will play Aquaman. The Social Network star Jesse Eisenberg plays the antagonist, Lex Luther in the film and Oscar Winner actor Jeremy Irons plays Alfred J. Pennyworth. The film will hit the theatres in 2016.
