The megahit dinosaur flick Jurassic World is all set to create a record by touching $1 after its 13 days according to Universal Pictures. The film has ranked number one on Rentrak that is the leader in precisely measuring movies and TV everywhere. The film had already set a record by becoming the biggest worldwide opener and now with the pace that it is heading towards the $1 billion mark, it will soon leave Furious 7 behind, by becoming the fastest film to touch that mark.
The film has done exceptionally well since day one and has went on to achieve immense amount of money as well as fan following. Even in India the film is going strong with almost every show being house-full over the weekend. The film certainly gave tough competition and a hard time to Hindi film Hamari Adhuri Kahani starring Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi which released on the same day, June 12.

Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan plays a pivotal role in the film and was thrilled over the response it has been receiving. Irrfan plays the role of Simon Masarani in the film who is the head of Masrani Global Corporation which owns Jurassic World. The plot of the film features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World. In order to boost the sales and get more people to the theme park, the scientists experiment and create a dinosaur larger than the T-Rex named Indominus Rex that later goes rogue. Trailers and sneak peeks of the film shows the consequences faced by the people who are stranded on the island with dinosaurs on the run.
Bryce Dallas Howard, Judy Greer, Chris Pratt, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson, Nick Robinson, Irrfan Khan, Vincent D’Onofrio, BD Wong, Omar Sy, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus, Andy Buckley form the star cast. Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly have written the screenplay. Jurassic World has been directed by Colin Trevorrow and is produced by Frank Marshall, Patrick Crowley.
