MUMBAI: Sanjay Dutt-starrer ‘Policegiri’, directed by KS Ravi Kumar, and produced by TP Agarwal and Rahul Agarwal has failed to set the cash registers ringing on Day 1.
‘Policegiri’, which stars Prachi Desai and Prakash Raj along with jailed Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt, did not manage to impress theatre-going audiences, especially in urban circles.
On Day 1, the business of ‘Policegiri’ was in the range of Rs 24.8 million (Rs 2.48 crore) net. This is a very poor figure, considering the promotions and hype around the film.
‘Policegiri’ has managed to curry favour in the hinterland of the country though, doing especially well in Uttar Pradesh.
