Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is inching closer to 200 crore mark in India with each passing day. Directed by Kabir Khan, the action drama film has already collected Rs. 181.30 crore net (1813 million) approx. in its first week at the Box Office. On its second Friday at the Box Office, Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan earned Rs. 12.70 crore net (127 million) approx. In just 8 days, the film has collected Rs. 194 crore net (1940 million) approx so far in India.
With a first week collections like this one, things are looking really good for Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The film will most likely join the 200 crore club by the end of Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s second weekend run at the Box Office. Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan will be the biggest grosser by the star. The film is still doing a superb business in places like Mumbai, Delhi, UP, Hyderabad, Rajasthan and HP.
To collect such numbers on working days and then on an average second Friday run just goes out to show that Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan is in for a long and strong run at the Box Office. Bollywood’s Dabangg star received praises from the audiences all over the world for his mind blowing performance in the film. Bajrangi Bhaijaan received occupancy rate of more than 30-40% on working days solely because of good word of mouth. The film is running strong in theatres even though the advantage of EID has faded out. The film only saw a drop of 40-50% at the Box Office in collections after its first weekend run. Compared to other Bollywood films, Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan’s first week and second Friday business were excellent.
Even on weekdays, the film minted excellent numbers. Kabir Khan’s action drama, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui is already a massive hit everywhere. Now that the film has completed its first week run with firm and strong collections, we look forward to the sort of numbers it will bring in on its second weekend at the Box Office, as it will finally reveal whether the film ends up setting a new benchmark or not.
