MUMBAI: Notwithstanding the World Cup 2011 cricket matches that are claiming audience attention at present, the box office saw some cheer from Tanu Weds Manu, which is in its second week now. The movie’s second weekend run at the theaters also fetched decent collections.
The R Madhavan & Kangana Ranaut starrer saw net collections of approximately Rs 51 million (Rs 5.1 crore) in its second weekend. The movie’s second Friday saw net collections of Rs 12.5 million (Rs 1.25 crore), Saturday was at Rs 18.5 million (Rs 1.85 crore) and Sunday was at Rs 20 million (Rs 2 crore).
With this the total theatrical net collections of the movie now stand at Rs 236.5 million (Rs 23.65 crore).
