MUMBAI: The comic caper Yamla Pagla Deewana (YPD) starring the three Deols – Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby, has done a net business of approximately Rs 340 million (Rs 34 crore) in India in its first week.
As was reported earlier by Businessofcinema.com, YPD’s opening weekend net collections was Rs 220 million (Rs 22 crore).
On the other hand, the Rani Mukherji – Vidya Balan starrer No One Killed Jessica’s first week net collections were Rs 193 million (Rs 19.3 crore), whereas in the second week, the movie saw net collections of approximately Rs 61.5 million (Rs 6.15 crore), thus taking the total net collections to Rs 254.5 million (Rs 25.45 crore).
