Having served Times of India for 14 years, A.P. Parigi gears up to take over the seat of Group CEO at Network18 Media & Investments. He would replace B. Saikumar who had quit in May 2014 after serving the organization for 14 years.
With over 40 years of experience in infrastructure, telecom, media and entertainment sectors, Parigi was instrumental in shaping Radio Mirchi as one of India’s largest private radio network.
Under his guidance Times of India entered the OOH media businesses and he also contributed majorly their television business under Times Global Broadcasting and internet business.
Adil Zainulbhai, Chairman of Network 18 has already extended his warm welcome to Parigi.
Network18 holds many media entities under its wings and its business offer products related to cable television, print and publishing, films, music, broadcasting radio and web portals.
Television Eighteen India Ltd (TV18), HomeShop18, CNN-IBN, First Post, IBN 18 Broadcast Ltd, Web 18, Studio 18, Shop 18, Infomedia 18, and Viacom 18 come under it.
From January 29 2015, Parigi will join in as the Group CEO. His expertise would reflect in product planning, brand development, technological upgradations, furthering the businesses and developing crucial teams for better management of the organization.
An alumni of Delhi School of Economics, AP Parigi earned his management degree from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi. We wish Mr. Parigi and Network 18 all the very best in this new journey.
