Marvel Entertainment has undergone lot of potential changes in its company positions where former CFO and Senior Vice President Chris Acquaviva will soon depart from the production house. According to the studio the departure comes as a friendly move from Acquaviva’s side who intends to pursue new opportunities ahead. To fill his position, Marvel has now roped in Rob Steffens who served the position of CFO at Broadway Video prior to this.
Rob Steffens has been rehired by Marvel Entertainment as its CFO and he will be reporting to chairman Isaac Perlmutter. Chris Acquaviva will however be staying back for a while to work with Rob Steffens during the transition period helping him take over the position efficiently. Another major appointment made by the company includes Mindy Hamilton who has been named the Senior VP of Global Partnerships at the Marvel Studios. Mindy who was earlier working at Paramount Pictures as an executive will be reporting to Rob Steffens.
Marvel has an impressive lineup of films set to release this year as well as over the next years. Ant-Man is set to hit theaters on July 17, 2015. Other films in making include, Captain America: Civil War on May 6, 2016, Doctor Strange on November 4, 2016, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 on May 5, 2017, Untitled Spider-Man on July 28, 2017
Thor: Ragnarok on November 3, 2017, Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 on May 4, 2018 and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2 on May 3, 2019.
