Arnold Schwarzenegger Sued For Prisoner's Death!

Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger is being sued by a prisoner’s family who died in a California prison. Apparently, the family is suing the actor who was previously the state’s governor at that time when the incident happened. The inmate died due to exposure to a certain virus that the authorities failed to eliminate from the prison. Schwarzenegger is being sued by the family of Rodney Taylor Sr., the prisoner who died due to the virus.

The said virus is reportedly called the Valley Fever which is spread by spores found in soil. Taylor was exposed to the same and contracted the disease, and the authorities (including Arnold Schwarzenegger) failed to ‘warn and properly educate’ him about the sickness which led to his death. The lawsuit has been filed for the same stating that the mishap occurred due the Governor and other authorities’ negligence. Rodney was imprisoned from 2010 to 2014 due to drug related offense.

The Valley Fever is certainly a deadly disease where the patient’s body organs start to fail. The victim might suffer from skin diseases, limb amputation and also brain damage in some cases. Shocking, Arnold Schwarzenegger has been facing a lawsuit previously filed by 22 current and former inmates at another prison in California for exposure to the same disease. Rodney Taylor’s family is now asking the political officials to compensate them for some damages including the burial expenses.

The actor’s political career began in early 1990s where he was appointed as the Chairman of the President’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports under the presidency of George Bush. The actor had very casually revealed in an interview that his run for the Governor’s office was out of the blue. Arnold Schwarzenegger was elected as California’s Governor in 2003.
