Directed by Christopher Nolan,‘The Dark Knight Rises’ is the third and ultimate film in the ‘Batman’ franchise. The film, takes an eight year leap from where the 2008 film, The Dark Knight ended. This time the story deals with a Gotham City abandoned by Batman and terrorized by the villain Bane.

Apart from the two Avatars, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox and Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne of the Batman movies, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, will be joined by Anne Hathaway in the role of Selina Kyle as Catwoman and Tom Hardy as the deadly Bane.
Anne Hathaway underwent rigorous training in kick-boxing and mixed martial arts for her role. “I’d always thought I was pretty healthy and I always thought I had worked hard in the gym. It turns out that what I thought was hard, in Catwoman’s world is actually light to moderate,” the actress said.
The audiences have been waiting for this film since the release of ‘The Dark Knight’ in 2008. Almost all the list of most memorable films considered ‘The Dark Knight’ as one of the strong contenders of the top spot and thus it’s very natural on part of the viewers to expect high on Nolan to come up with another great film.
