A hot speculation is taking rounds as Disney reportedly wants to revive the Indiana Jones franchisee after buying the rights from Paramount in 2013. Chris Pratt is rumored to be cast as the next Indiana Jones, a role that was earlier made famous by Harrison Ford. Talks between Disney and Prat are very much at the nascent level and hence the former refused to disclose any details on this! But fans of Chris Pratt aren’t waiting for any formal announcement. Twitter is ablaze with comments, suggestions and votes that have already welcomed Pratt on board as the new face of Indiana Jones! Even stars like Sarah Hyland (from Modern Family) and Matt Shively (from True Jackson) have expressed their delight towards the possibility of such a proposition!

The first of Indiana Jones films titled Raiders of the Lost Ark released in 1981; next in the series, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom happened in 1984, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade in 1989, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in 2008. Television too celebrated Indiana Jones in their series titled The Young Indiana Jones Chronicles aired between 1992 and 1996. The character Indiana Jones also featured in novels, comics, video games, and other media.
Chris started with a successful career in television, post which he appeared in films with supporting roles. He came across as a leading man of the big screen only in 2014, with blockbuster hits like The Lego Movie and Guardians of the Galaxy. The actor will soon be seen in Jurassic World, a science fiction from the Jurassic Park franchisee set to release in 2015. The 35 years old actor is said to have been taken by surprise by this sudden reactions because he never knew that he was being considered for this role!
