The official trailer of Jackie Chan starrer Dragon Blade is out now and while the film has already released in February this year, audiences around the other parts of the world have been awaiting a glimpse. The ancient story based on the era of the Han Dynasty in China shows actor Jackie Chan as Huo An, John Cusack as Lucius and Adrien Brody as Tiberius. The trailer shows graphics and action sequences that are similar to the other Chinese war based movies.
Dragon Blade’s story states around the friendship between Jackie Chan and John Cusack where Chan is an exiled Chinese general. Cusack who is a renegade seeks shelter under Chan’s protection against the Roman consul played by Brody. Adrien pulls off the villainous avatar with his looks and stern dialogue delivery while we can expect Jackie Chan to amaze us with his superhuman action skills once again. Dragon Blade thus offers us the typical Chinese war action films, only this time starring Hollywood actors Adrien and John.

Dragon Blade initially released in Taiwan on February 18 and in China on the following day. It was released across Hong Kong on March 12. Release dates of the film in other countries have yet not been determined. Daniel Lee, who seems to have an obsession with dragons has directed as well as penned the screenplay of Dragon blade. He has previously given films like Dragon Squad, Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragon, 14 Blades and White Vengeance among others. The film also stars Chinese actors Lin Peng, Mika Wang, Choi Siwon and Xiao Yang among others and has been coproduced by Jackie Chan himself.
