75th Golden Globes Awards, 2018 Nominations out! ‘The Shape Of Water’ and ‘The Post’ among top nominations!
Nominations for the 75th annual Golden Globe Awards, 2018 were announced yesterday.
Guillermo del Toro directed ‘The Shape Of Water’ leads with seven nominations in all; followed by Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks starrer ‘The Post’ with six nominations. Along with Martin McDonagh directed ‘Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri’ with also six nominations.
As for television nominations famous ‘Big Little Lies’ tops the list with six nominations. Later comes ‘Feud: Bette and Joan’ with four nominations.
The Golden Globes Awards not only give recognition to the films but also the television industry. The nominations are chosen and presented by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. The organization comprises of nearly 90 widely known anon international journalists.
Therefore, the Golden Globes are the representation of the entire media industry.
The nominations for the prestigious awards were unveiled by Sharon Stone, Kristen Bell, Garrett Hedlund, and Alfre Woodard from the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
