For Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma and Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli, it signifies their undying love for each other. The couple has not had an easy journey to this significant milestone. Never ending controversies have always followed Anushka and Virat. The couple has stood up for each other through thick and thin. Anushka’s vidaai is a proof of that.
Tuscany’s Borgo Finocchieto was the venue of the lavish wedding ceremony. A heritage luxury resort made after restoring a 13th-century village. As reported by media personnel in Italy, the area surrounding the resort, up to five kilometres was strictly a ‘no-camera zone’. There was tight security around the front and back of the property.
Virat and Anushka married each other yesterday morning in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony. Many videos of the ceremony and other occasions have surfaced. Videos of Virat crooning a song for his lady love, his haldi ceremony, their mehendi ceremony and their ring ceremony. Most of these videos made us laugh while some had us smiling with tears in our eyes.
One of the videos from their Tuscan wedding has gone viral. In the video, we can see the newly married couple walking by each other’s side during the vidaai ceremony. Clad in her pink Sabyasachi Mukherjee bridal lehenga, Anushka Sharma threw rice kernels behind her as she walked with Virat Kohli. In the video, we can see Anushka get emotional while throwing the rice kernels and Virat tries to comfort her.

The couple made an official announcement of their nuptials through Anushka Sharma’s twitter handle. In the tweet, Anushka wrote, “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever.We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey.”

Virat shared the same caption on his Instagram and Twitter with a sweet picture of them sitting by the holy fire.
The much in love couple is still in Tuscany basking in their marital glow. Post returning Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli will host a lavish reception party in Delhi on December 21st for their relatives. A reception party will be held in one of the five-star hotels in Mumbai on December 26th for their friends.
