[tps_footer]Kim Kardashian and Kanye West threw a lavish Kidchella theme birthday party to bring their daughter, North West‘s first birthday.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West went all out for daughter North West‘s first birthday, throwing her a huge party with ferris wheel and face painting. Well it all sounds like a blockbuster film and thanks to the couple’s famous family, there are plenty of pictures of the festivities online.
The party was held in Kim Kardashian‘s sister Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick‘s huge backyard on Saturday, June 21, 2014 and was modeled after California’s annual Coachella music festival that featured a stage where friends and family members could lip sync to hit songs.
In keeping with the theme, guests were asked to dress in typical festival attire. For Kylie, that meant a denim dress under a gauzy poncho; for Kendall, floral-print shorts and a cropped gray t-shirt. Sister Khloe, meanwhile, posed in a traditional Native American headdress, wow this one looked like a carnival.
Guests were given a wristbands upon their arrival and enjoyed food catered by Wood Ranch Grill. Teepees were placed around the yard, and children were given moccasins and leather fringe outfits, while the girls were also given leather fringe bags. The kids also received Yeezus t-shirts.
“Ray of clouds. Chirping of birds. Gurgling of water. Granting desire. One with water.” wrote Kim Kardashian on Instagram and shared a picture of the party.
The party seems to have been a big success. In addition to the ferris wheel, there was a big bounce house for kids, as well as various food stands for lemonade, sno-cones, funnel cake, churros, and cotton candy.
“Our baby girl’s first birthday party!” wrote Kim Kardashian post the party on twitter with some pictures.
