The Twilight series star, Kristen Stewart and her singer-songwriter girlfriend made their first public appearance on Wednesday afternoon at the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Show and Tea in Los Angeles. They used the occasion to debut their budding romance.
Stewart looked chic in a black blazer and baggy Phillip Lim joggers with black loafers, while St Vincent opted for a cropped red and black jacket with high-waisted black trousers.
During the event, the new lovebirds were cozying up by leaning into each other as St. Vincent (whose real name Annie Clark) tucked her arm underneath Stewart’s elbow.
Back in July, the 26 year old actress confirmed in an interview with Elle U.K. that she was dating Cargile, where she spoke candidly about her sexual orientation. “Right now I’m just really in love with my girlfriend”. She further added, “We’ve broken up a couple of times and gotten back together, and this time I was like, ‘Finally, I can feel again.” She split from model/actress Cargile Delevingne over the summer after more than a year together.
“I’m not ashamed, and I’m not confused,” she added. “Things have changed. And not just with me—we’re really allowed to encourage this new acceptance to develop and be awesome.”
