The hot Hollywood couple Gigi and Zayn made their first red carpet appearance together at the Met Gala 2016 held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday (May 2, 2016) in New York City. The couple walked hand-in-hand as they posed for the cameras and looked so much in love.
Met Gala is one of the most awaited events of the year that brings all big celebs under one roof and we get to see extravagant fashion statements. Matching the tone of the outfits and keeping with the Manux X Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology theme, Gigi wore a metallic bodice Tommy Hilfiger gown with a sheer overlay. Sleek side parted tied hair and simple makeup rounded her entire red carpet look. The rings on her fingers caught everyone’s attention. Zayn Malik wore a custom black Versace suit. Going with the theme, he added molded metal arms to his sleeves with Swarovski crystals and Medusa details.
Gigi Hadid revealed on her Snapchat that her dress was designed during Paris Fashion Week 2016 in her hotel room on a notepad. She said she was extremely happy that she chose Tommy Hilfiger.
Gigi and Zayn have been dating for over a few months now and she was also featured in his first solo music video, ‘Pillow Talk’. That is when the buzz started that they were indeed dating. Since that time, they haven’t kept anything a secret and also got featured on Vogue’s cover.
