Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Katy Perry And Kanye West Get Cosy At LA Awards

The Daily Front Row Fashion Los Angeles Awards (LA Awards) held on the evening of 22nd January 2015 seemed to be a gala get together for who’s who of the industry, with music stars Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Kanye West occupying the front row. The event was also attended by Nicole Richie, Kerry Washington, Ciara and Drew Barrymore, among others.

Katy Perry kindled the evening with an unexpected pink Adidas’ classic Duramo slides to match her pink dress, with a fur stole and biker clutch. Kerry Washington seemed off the flavour with a black, white and grey look. Gigi Hadid, wearing a watermelon-hued one-shoulder Calvin Klein fitted dress, received the Model of the Year Award. Minka Kelly came in a Herve Leger multicoloured textural flared frock with studded details.

Drew Barrymore, the host of the night, wore a Zara short-sleeve top with Milly print skirt and carried silver glitter Dior clutch and gold glitter shoes. Dita Von Teese, who is usually seen in black, tried a rich red brocade Dolce & Gabbana mini dress with the brand’s signature woodland theme embroidered on the skirt. Model Liberty Ross was seen in a Moschino ensemble in black and white with customary gold-tone buttons. Seen in a pink hairdo, designer Nicole Richiews appeared in a black leather braided Alfredo Villalba dress styled with black pumps and Kwiat jewels.

Winners of the evening included Jeremy Scott who bagged the Womenswear Designer Of The Year Award. Christian Louboutin received Shoe Designer Of The Year Award. Fashion Innovator of the Year Award went to Mazdack Rassi, the founder and creative director of Milk Studios. Ann Caruso won Womenswear Stylist Of The Year; Menswear Stylist Of The Year Award went to Illaria Urbinati.
