OMG! Madonna’s Son Rocco Ritchie Arrested For This Reason!

Singer and songwriter Madonna‘s teenage son Rocco Ritchie had been arrested for possessing drugs.

Rocco was arrested for possession of cannabis after being stopped by police in Notting Hill. This was after some neighbours called the local police being wary of some suspicious behaviour. He was seen ‘smoking or doing’ pot near his Primrose Hill home in North London.

Post which, the 16-year-old, was detained for a search when the police suspected that he threw away something as he saw them approaching. Also, the officers noticed traces of cannabis on his clothes they searched him and found a small quantity of cannabis.

Rocco Ritchie was taken into custody on September 28 and taken to a north London police station.

A spokesman said: “A 16-year-old has been arrested for possession of cannabis. He was bailed and dealt with by Camden Borough’s Youth Offending Team.”

While UK law states anyone convicted of possessing cannabis can face an unlimited fine and up to five years in prison, as a minor Rocco Ritchie is likely to have to attend a number of workshops.

The teenager has been at the centre of a bitter custody dispute between his director father, Guy Ritchie and pop icon mother. The couple divorced in 2008 and finally agreed in September to allow Rocco Ritchie to continue living with his father in London.
