‘The Lunchbox’
The current favourite. From Cannes to Telluride to Toronto, this film has been making waves at every film festival possible. Reviewers and audience alike have loved it and there has been a fan base being steadily built among audience abroad. It also helps that Sony Classics has picked up international distribution of the film for North American territories. (Sony Classics also distributed eventual winner ‘Amour’ last year and the runner-up ‘No’.) This film has all the potential to satisfy India’s hunger at the Oscars.
