Earlier we reported that Jim Carrey’s Irish girlfriend Cathriona White committed suicide and was found dead in her California apartment recently. Reportedly it was revealed that the makeup artist had overdosed on drugs which lead to her death. And now in a shocking revelation it’s been said that Cathriona apparently overdosed on the drugs prescribed to actor Jim Carrey himself! It is also being said that she had written in her suicide letter, the date of her breakup with Jim Carrey.
The ‘Bruce Almighty’ star had expressed his grief over the matter and stated that he only wanted to take a short break from Cathriona and that he never intended to completely split up. Cathriona had also tweeted a weird goodbye message on Twitter just days before her suicide. Jim and Cathriona who had been dating on and off had met for the first time in 2012. After dating for a while the couple had called it quits, but latest reports suggested that they got back together in May. Since then we have seen numerous photos posted by Jim Carrey credited to Cathriona White. Apparently, the couple had broken up on September 24 and her body was found on September 28 morning.

Actor Jim Carrey has been really helpful to White’s family, bearing all their travelling and accommodation expenses related to Cathriona’s funeral. Reportedly the drugs White overdosed on have been revealed as painkiller Percocet, sleep aid Ambien and blood-pressure medication Propranolol. A deadly combination of these three drugs took her life. The 30-year-old beauty was also suffering from depression and the breakup with Carrey devastated her.
Apparently Jim and Cathriona had also celebrated her birthday on September 19, which makes this all the more confusing for Carrey who is still in a state of shock. It certainly seems like the actor cannot understand why White would take such a drastic step. He had also released a statement that stated he is deeply shocked and saddened by the passing away of his girlfriend, explaining his current emotion as being ‘hit by a lightning bolt’.
