Well known rapper Wiz Khalifa, who is known for his songs Black and Yellow and See You Again, was recently arrested after being forced to the ground and handcuffed at Los Angeles international airport on Saturday night after he refused to get off his hover board (a self balancing two wheeled scooter). The officers asked Wiz Khalifa to step down the hover board, after he refused to get down, the officers put him down and hand cuffed him.
Not much is known about what happened, but the international sensation Wiz Khalifa posted videos and photos of him while he was handcuffed and detained.
After the incident, Wiz Khalifa took to his Twitter account and expressed himself through series of tweets. He said that his decision to ride the hover board through the airport wasn’t an act of entertainment, but instead he was taking a stand for the generation and technology. “All because I didn’t want to ditch the technology everyone will be using in the next 6 months. Do what you want kids,” Wiz Khalifa tweeted with a video.
Wiz Khalifa also wrote on his twitter account that he stands for our generation, and that our generation is going to be riding hover boards soon. In the videos, we see officers pushing Wiz Khalifa down on the ground and asking the rapper repetitively to stop resisting. In the video we also hear Wiz Khalifa saying that he isn’t resisting and he is just co-operating with the cops. “I’m not resisting, sir. I’m not resisting,” Wiz Khalifa is heard saying.
The entire ruckus was created because the star decided to ride his hover board at the airport. Currently, hover boards are the big trending topic among the teenagers. The star went further and spoke about the whole incident on Twitter later. Not only that, but he also wrote that being slammed and cuffed was fun. “Haven’t been slammed and cuffed in a while. That was fun,” Wiz Khalifa tweeted.
