Zayn Malik Quits One Direction!

In a shocking revelation it was announced recently that British-Pakistani member Zayn Malik of the famous boy band One Direction has quit the band due to stress of the limelight and media speculations about his private life. Reportedly, the band will be continuing with its other four members who have assured the fans about future projects.

One Direction is a British-Irish pop band that was formed in 2010 consisting of members Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik. On March 25, 2015 after five amazing years together, Zayn Malik decided to leave the band and the official announcement for the same was made on their official Facebook page.

According to the update, the reason for quitting the band was Zayn’s sole decision to take a break from the busy limelight life. The 22-year-old singer apologized to all the fans for hurting their sentiments and stated that all the members of 1D will always remain friends.

As quoted, “I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life, Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall. I know they will continue to be the best band in the world.”

Despite the assurances made by the remaining members of the band about the continual of their journey as a four-piece, fans have lost control and flooded social media with more than thousands of messages expressing their grief and outrage on the splitting of the band.
