Arkiva acquires APM Studios

MUMBAI: Internet and retail based provider of digital conversion services for videotapes, film, photos, documents, music Arkiva, Inc has purchased all the assets and customer base of APM Studios, which was founded in 2003.
Both companies specialize in transferring home movie videotapes to Hollywood-style DVDs and with this combination will now offer its services via the Internet, a Company owned storefront and affiliated retailers.
Founded in 2005, Arkiva has been on the leading edge of digital conversion and Internet technology to enable families to transfer, preserve, access and share their most precious memories stored on old videotapes, films, photo prints, slides, records, cassettes and printed documents. The company provides its customers with high quality DVD’s and access to their memories online at the www.arkiva.com website where customers can create their own private secure homepage for archiving their newly digitized media or share any or all of their memories with invited friends and family.
