Big Screen Entertainment signs deal with Rochester Financial for Michigan movies

Mumbai: Big Screen Entertainment Group has entered into a financing partnership with Rochester Financial Center to develop film financing packages and funds for a number of films to be produced solely in Michigan.

Big Screen will be opening a permanent production branch in Southeast Michigan to capitalize on the remarkable initiative of 40% return on all Michigan film expenditures.

"We plan on making a new home in the Rochester area and true to the law’s purpose, we are providing employment and business opportunities to individuals and established Michigan businesses," stated BSEG senior VP Michael Manasseri.

The Michigan Financial Group is a venture capital company that has been working with Manasseri to broaden the company’s portfolio to film financing. The Group has numerous relationships with commercial banks and lending institutions in Michigan.

"We are excited to enter into this agreement with Big Screen Entertainment. There has been a substantial amount of excitement around the area with respect to Hollywood entering our state. We feel that this partnership with Big Screen will serve as a good foundation for future endeavors and look forward to evolving this relationship for many films to come," said managing partner Miguel Coder.

BSEG plans to produce the first of four pictures in the family action franchise, CODE NINJA in early 2009 in Michigan, as well as a number of other genre pictures.
