Clint Eastwood’s Invictus LA premier on 3 December

MUMBAI: The Los Angeles premiere of Clint Eastwood’s  Invictus will be held on Thursday, 3 December at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

 
       
       

Directed by Clint Eastwood, Invictus  stars; Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon. The film is produced by Eastwood, Lori McCreary, Robert Lorenz and Mace Neufeld. The screenplay is by Anthony Peckham, based upon the book Playing the Enemy, by John Carlin. Freeman, Tim Moore, Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum are the executive producers.

     
       
 

The premier will be attended by Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon along with other celebrity guests.

     

 

Invictus tells the true story of how Nelson Mandela joined forces with the captain of South Africa’s rugby team, Francois Pienaar, to help unite their country.

 

Invictus  will be distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film has been rated PG-13 by the MPAA and  is slated to release on 11 December.
