Dave’s flirting edited out

Dave Navarro’s womanising ways are reportedly being edited out of hit US reality TV contest Rock Star: Supernova to save the guitarist further embarrassment as he recovers from his marriage split.

American reports suggest Navarro and his beautiful actress wife Carmen Electra separated weeks before making their split official earlier this month, and women have started coming forward with claims they dated the rocker before the announcement was made.

The former Jane’s Addiction star has been linked romantically to Los Angeles socialite Sarah Howard and aspiring actress Stacy Durkin, who has spoken out about their alleged affair. But, as Navarro continues to insist he’s currently single and the split had nothing to do with a third party, his quick quips as a TV presenter are landing him in trouble.

One audience member at a recent taping of the show, which also features Tommy Lee, tells American magazine Life & Style flirting Navarro’s pick-up lines with sexy contestants are being edited out of the show. The audience member remembers one chat with singer Jenny Galt, which was left on the cutting room floor.

He says, “He told her in a really suggestive voice that they should work on her sound and ‘take a trip up the coast together’.” The comments never aired.

Electra, 34, is refusing to talk about the split, but a pal tells the publication the actress/model is hurt by Navarro’s alleged womanising ways: “She thinks he’s a pig. She knows she deserves much better.”
