Mumbai: David J. Anderman has been named General Counsel for Lucasfilm Ltd., becoming the company’s senior legal officer. The announcement was made by Lucasfilm vice president Howard Roffman.
Anderman has been a key member of Lucasfilm’s legal team since joining the company in 1998, and will now oversee all business affairs and legal issues for the privately held, fully integrated entertainment company, which produces films and television programs in addition to operating global licensing, visual effects and videogame businesses.
"David’s great contributions to Lucasfilm over the past 10 years have made it clear that he is the ideal person to guide our legal and business affairs needs," said Roffman, to whom Anderman will continue to report.
