Mumbai: Fox Mobile Entertainment (FME), a division of Fox Entertainment Group, has reorganized and strengthened its leadership team to support its plan to broaden its catalog, enhance distribution and cultivate new mobile content offerings. The announcement was made at CTIA Wireless I.T. and Entertainment 2008 in San Francisco.
Leading the reorganized FME management team is Andrew Stalbow, who has been promoted to senior vice president of the division after serving as vice president of International for FME located in London for the past two years. In his new role, Stalbow will be based in Los Angeles and will be responsible for mobile content and distribution for Fox worldwide.
Stalbow will report to Fox Filmed Entertainment executive vice president business & legal affairs and general counsel Jamie Samson. Prior to joining Fox, Stalbow served as senior manager of Business Development for Vodafone Group where he was responsible for negotiating multi-territory content and marketing deals on behalf of 29 operating companies.
FME also announced that Amelia Gammon, who most recently served as director of Mobile, International New Media and Universal Digital Platforms for NBC Universal, will become the new vice president of International. In this role, Gammon will be responsible for international content distribution, licensing and marketing and will work with publishers, carriers and OEMs. Amelia will be based in Fox’s London office.
Further, Matt McMahon has been appointed executive director of Content and Business Development. McMahon is responsible for managing the Company’s relationship with MediaFLO and managing operations and development of Fox’s WAP networks. McMahon will focus on increasing and implementing business development in North America as well as developing original content.
Additionally, Adam Wilensky, who has worked for Fox for 12 years, has been named Director of Media and Production, and is responsible for short-form digital content and graphics production as well as carrier deck distribution projects such as Family Freakin’ Guy Channel, currently featured on Verizon’s V CAST service.
