The ghost story, starring Tony Curran, Lyndsey Marshal and Jessica Barden, will have its World premiere at the festival on Monday 3 October, at the Apollo Cinema in Piccadilly Circus.
In The Dark Half is the first of three films to be made under South West Screen’s iFeatures scheme, backed by BBC Films, Matador Pictures and Bristol City Council. Content Media Corporation are handling Worldwide sales.
A story about love, grief and redemption, the film follows the haunting of a teenage girl. It is directed by Alastair Siddons. Written by writer-in-residence at Bristol Old Vic, Lucy Catherine, it is produced by Margaret Matheson of Bard Entertainments.
The film is a Bard Entertainments/iFeatures production, presented by South West Screen and BBC Films, in association with Matador Pictures, Cinema Six, Regent Capital, Film Agency for Wales and the City of Bristol.
