Lindsay Lohan to be questioned for jewellery theft


MUMBAI: After a pair of diamond earrings and a necklace estimated to be worth approximately £250,000, were found missing post a photo shoot, actress Lindsay Lohan is to be questioned by police for the theft.

The theft was reported on 8 June, 2009.

The actress posed for Elle on a trip to London and is one of a number of people due to be quizzed after being pictured wearing the gems. They were specially designed for the shoot by fashion house Dior. Lindsay was working in Big Sky Studios in Islington, North London.

So far there have been no arrests at this stage but inquiries are being done.
