MUMBAI: Michael Jackson’s This Is It has grossed $101 million worldwide in five days.
Moreover, the movie’s run in theatres has been extended, which was initially planned two weeks. Sony is extending Michael Jackson’s This Is It in the US, Canada, and most territories around the world.

With this kind of global response, it’s clear that the motion picture deserves an extended run and we are going to do everything we can to make the film available to everyone who wants to see Michael Jackson’s This Is It on the big screen."
This Is It has grossed $32.5 million in North America and approximately $68.5 in other markets worldwide in its first five days of release.
In Japan, the movie grossed $10.4 million, in the UK $7.6 million, Germany took in $6.3 million, France $5.8 million, Australia $3.6 million, China $3.2 million, Italy $2.9 million, and Spain $2.6 million.
