Napster’s music subscription in Japan

Mumbai: Napster has announced that the company’s mobile music subscription service is available to NTT DoCoMo customers through nine new models of the mobile company’s line of music-enabled handsets, the FOMA705i series. The Microsoft Windows Media-branded handsets let DoCoMo customers seamlessly download music directly to their handsets or download music and playlists from their PC to their phones.

The Napster-compatible handsets in the FOMA705i series from DoCoMo, Japan’s largest wireless carrier, boasts the latest features in mobile listening technology. By integrating the user experience of Microsoft Windows Vista with the latest-addition mobile phones, DoCoMo customers can manage their music from wherever they are.

“Napster is pleased that more DoCoMo customers can access and enjoy our award-winning mobile subscription service through the new DoCoMo handsets,” said Napster president Brad Duea. “As we continue our relationship with DoCoMo and expand our service to other carriers around the globe, we look forward to bringing the Napster Mobile experience to music lovers everywhere.”
