Nielsen appoints global head of customized research

Mumbai: The Nielsen Company announced the appointment of David Parma to the position of Global Product Leader for the company’s Customized Research group. In his new role, Parma will report to the company’s Consumer Product Leadership group global president Joe Willke and will be based in New York.
 
Parma brings to his new role a strong background in client- and agency-side research, marketing and product development.
 
"Nielsen’s Customized Research unit is one of the company’s best kept secrets, offering some of our most creative and cutting-edge products, which integrate especially well with Nielsen’s other signature services in the retail, panel and media tracking fields," said Parma.
 
Parma will be responsible for the strategic direction and investment priorities of Nielsen’s Customized Research business globally, and will work with Nielsen’s other global product leaders to develop products that integrate across the company’s broad range of products and services.
