LOS ANGELES: Talk show queen Oprah Winfrey might make her big screen comeback soon — 14 years after she was last seen in a movie.
Winfrey, who wrapped up her daily chat show last year, might join the cast of a biopic of Eugene Allen, who served eight US presidents as a butler in the White House. Producers are courting Winfrey to play Allen’s wife, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Hugh Jackman, Mila Kunis and John Cusack are also a part of the project.
Winfrey won an Oscar nomination for her big screen debut in 1985 film "The Color Purple". Her last acting role was the 1998 movie "Beloved".
