RealD Inc. files registration for proposed initial public offering

MUMBAI: RealD Inc, a global licensor of 3D technologies, has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a proposed initial public offering (IPO) of its common stock.

 

The shares in the offering will be offered by RealD and certain selling stockholders. RealD intends to apply to list its common stock on The New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol RLD.

 

J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. and Piper Jaffray & Co. will act as joint book-running managers for the proposed offering. The offering will be made only by means of a prospectus.

 

A registration statement relating to these securities has been filed with the SEC but has not yet become effective.
