MUMBAI: The four-day South Asian Film Festival Goa 2010 ( SAFF ) has witnessed a low key response. SAFF got underway to a virtually empty auditorium on Friday evening.
SAFF was shifted to Goa three years back and has been witnessing a low key response since then.It has already been declared that Goa will be made the permanent venue for the festival but Goa is yet to get a centre of Indian council for cultural relations (ICCR).
More than 50 films will be screened at the festival from South Asian countries till 20 September.
Prominent filmmakers and actors from various South Asian countries, representatives of the Indian film fraternity are attending the festival.
