MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Television and Marvel Entertainment have joined hands with McDonald’s with a branded Happy Meal program based on the animated series The Spectacular Spider-Man, which will be available in the US for a four-week period.
The Spectacular Spider-Man US Happy Meal will feature a collection of eight action figures, including Spider-Man Suction Cup, Doctor Octopus, Spider-Man Swinging, Venom, Spider-Man Launcher, Green Goblin, Spider-Man Crawling, and Sandman.
The Spectacular Spider-Man Happy Meal will be available in over 15,000 participating McDonald’s restaurants in North America.
In addition to television commercials, further marketing support includes in-store signage and displays. For even more fun, kids can check out McWorld, McDonald’s virtual world at Happymeal.com, to meet up with Spectacular Spider-Man, play an interactive game and customize their avatar with Spectacular Spider-Man gear.
The promotion will continue to roll out in over 10,000 McDonald’s restaurants around the world throughout March, April and May in Latin America, Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand.
