MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Entertainment has promoted Ann Junod Boyd senior vice president Global Communications at Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Global Communications executive vice president Jim Kennedy said, “Ann’s a real rising star here at Sony. She’s creative, collegial and smart. She knows business, entertainment, technology and the importance of helping the media get what they need accurately and fast.” Boyd reports to Kennedy.
“I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to work here at Sony Pictures,” said Boyd. “The creative work and people here are inspiring, and the chance to be so connected to the worlds of entertainment and technology is totally unique to Sony.”
Before joining Sony, Boyd served as Fox Interactive Media, News Corporation’s online division vice president Corporate Communications. Prior to that, she worked for AOL, where she led music and entertainment communications. Boyd began her career in communications at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide working on Microsoft.
