MUMBAI: Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) senior vice president of worldwide publicity Fritz Friedman announced personnel changes in the worldwide publicity department.
Staci Griesbach has been promoted to executive director, worldwide publicity, reporting to Friedman; whereas Griesbach will be responsible for worldwide Blu-ray and DVD publicity campaigns for SPHE, managing the studio’s new release, television, catalog and direct-to-video product.
Griesbach will also support Friedman in corporate communications for the home entertainment division as well as for Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions Group (SPWAG).
Prior to this promotion, Griesbach was director, worldwide publicity.
Jason Allen, previously manager, worldwide publicity, has been promoted to director, worldwide publicity also reporting to Friedman. In his position, Allen will oversee International publicity in non-European territories, new technology, including Blu-ray, and special events.
Erin O’Brien also joins SPHE as manager, worldwide publicity where she will manage corporate communications and domestic publicity campaigns on behalf of SPHE releases on DVD, PSP and Blu-ray, reporting to Griesbach.
